NicNac Systems
NicNac AI Visibility · A NicNac Systems Product

Your customers ask AI who to hire.Does it name you?

The first call no longer goes to the top of a search page — it goes to whoever the AI answer names. If ChatGPT, Gemini, or Meta AI doesn't name your business, you never get the call — and no report you own today even shows you the loss. NicNac AI Visibility measures it, fixes what the audit finds, and re-measures every month on the same battery.

No guaranteed rankings. No invented numbers. A fixed battery, a published scorecard, and the fixes — in that order.

The Audit — One-Time

Battery. Scores.A map of who wins instead.

The Audit asks the engines the questions your customers actually ask — then scores the answers three ways and shows you exactly who got named in your place. You keep the report either way; the roadmap is yours whether you hire us for the fixes or not.

1

The battery

A fixed set of buyer-intent prompts for your trade and town — "best [service] near me," city-named variants, price and speed questions — run across the major answer engines. The prompt set is frozen, so next month's run is comparable to this one.

2

The scores

Every answer is scored on a fixed rubric: were you named at all? Cited — did the answer use your own site or listing as its source? Recommended — presented as a business to hire, not just mentioned? Raw answers are saved verbatim.

3

The presence map

When the engines name someone else, we map who they name, how often, and the visible reason — review volume, consistent listings, content that answers the question — so the gap is concrete, not a vibe.

4

The roadmap

The report closes with a fix roadmap ordered by our playbook: fix the facts substrate first, then build citable substance, then re-measure. A person reviews every report before it reaches you.

Beam, NicNac's conductor, at the table where the systems are coordinated

Why a battery, and not a screenshot? One prompt on one engine on one afternoon proves nothing — answers vary by engine, by wording, and by week. A fixed battery, re-run unchanged, turns "AI doesn't like us" into three rates you can watch move: named, cited, recommended. That discipline is the product. Everything else is commentary.

Presence — Monthly

What Presence fixes,in the order that works.

Presence implements the playbook the Audit roadmap points to — per location, month after month — and then proves its own work by re-running the identical battery. This is the summary; the full playbook is the working document behind every engagement.

Facts First

One set of facts, everywhere

Your name, address, phone, services, and hours made identical across your website, Google Business Profile, and the major listings. Engines corroborate before they recommend — a business whose sources disagree with each other gets skipped for one whose agree.

  • Canonical fact sheet becomes the single source of truth
  • Every mismatch found, corrected, or flagged as owner-only
Machine-Readable

Schema the engines can ingest

schema.org structured data — LocalBusiness, Organization, Product/Service, FAQ — installed and validated on your site, so engines read your facts in the format their parsers are built for instead of guessing them out of prose.

  • Typed entity, complete fields, sameAs links tying your profiles together
  • Validated at install, re-checked when facts change
AI-Readable

A facts page + llms.txt

A plain, machine-first facts page and an llms.txt file generated from the same fact sheet: who you are, what you do, where, since when, and how to recommend you. One source — the page and the file can never disagree.

  • Written for a machine reader first — no navigation, no fog
  • Proof links included, so claims arrive with receipts
Citable

Q&A content engines can quote

Pages that answer real buyer questions — cost, speed, process — in plain, extractable statements an answer engine can lift verbatim. Measured claims point to a proof page where the number, the method, and the date are published.

  • No invented proof — a claim without a source doesn't ship
  • New Q&A added monthly, aimed at the questions the battery shows you losing
Trusted

A review engine, honestly run

A simple system for earning recent reviews — ask every happy customer, one tap, every review answered. Recency is what tells an engine you're operating now. Never bought, never gated, never scripted.

  • Post-job ask flow + in-person QR
  • Owner response routine, human-sent
Measured

Re-audit, every month

The identical battery re-runs monthly. Your report shows the three rates, the trend, what shipped, what moved — and what didn't, including months the numbers go down. Visibility sold without re-measurement is a promise nobody can keep.

  • Same prompts, same engines, same rubric
  • Fixes listed next to the movement they were meant to cause
Case Study — Our Own Baseline

We measured ourselves first. Here's what the engines said.

Before this product was offered to anyone, we ran the full battery on NicNac Systems itself — the same prompts, engines, and rubric a client gets. Whatever the numbers say below is what the engines actually said about us, published as-is — and what we're doing about it is the same playbook Presence would run for you.

Named Rate
2 / 19

Scored battery answers that named NicNac Systems at all — and both times, the question had named us first. Asked the way customers ask, with no prompt: 0 of 12.

Cited Rate
0 / 19

Scored answers that cited our own site or listings as a source. No engine used nicnacsystems.com as a source for anything.

Recommended Rate
0 / 19

Scored answers that presented us as a business to hire. This is the number Presence exists to move.

Battery
28 scored

Answers scored from a 14-prompt battery run across 4 AI engines on Oct 20, 2026 (56 planned — rate limits and engine errors are published in the audit method, not hidden). The identical battery re-runs monthly.

What the baseline found. Asked about us directly, the engines guessed: a generic software firm, networking jargon (NIC/NAC), or — in three answers — that no such company is widely documented at all. Not one knew we are in St. Augustine, in business since 1997, or that NicNacBook, NicNacParse, or After-Hours Answer & Book exist. Asked the way customers actually ask — best AI company in Jacksonville; who can answer my phones after hours; who turns PDFs into clean markdown — we were named zero times. The "in business since 1997" recommendation went to Intuit. The same battery's HVAC category shows the flip side: One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating was named in 5 answers. AI answers concentrate on a handful of named businesses. Everyone else is invisible.

What we're doing about it — the same order Presence follows for a client. Facts substrate first: schema.org data for the business and every product went onto our own site, an AI-readable facts file (llms.txt) and a public facts page went live, and this page was built to be cited. Then re-measurement: the identical battery re-runs on the monthly cycle, and the delta publishes here — whichever way it moves. The full method, every raw answer, and the scorecard live in our audit record; any client can ask to see how a battery is run before buying one.

If our baseline were flattering, this section would be easy. It is published either way — because a visibility service that won't show its own scores has told you everything about its scores.

The House Line

We Run the Technology. You Run the Business.

NicNac Systems has run technology for businesses since 1997. AI Visibility is Human Augmentation applied to a new front door: the answer engine your customers now ask first. The discipline is the same as everything we build — measure honestly, fix what's real, publish the proof.

Questions

Asked often.Answered plainly.

Can you guarantee the AI will recommend us?

No — and be careful with anyone who does. The answer engines are opaque and change without notice. What we sell is measurement (a fixed battery, scored the same way every time), the known fixable causes removed (inconsistent facts, missing structured data, nothing citable to quote), and monthly re-measurement that shows you the movement — including when there isn't any.

What exactly does the Audit measure?

A frozen set of buyer-intent prompts for your trade and town, run across the major answer engines. Each answer is scored named (you appear at all), cited (your own site or listing is used as a source), and recommended (you're presented as a business to hire). You also get a presence map of who was named instead, and a fix roadmap. Raw answers are kept verbatim — you can check our scoring yourself.

What does Presence actually change?

The playbook, in order: your facts made consistent across your site, Google Business Profile, and major listings; schema.org structured data installed and validated; an AI-readable facts page and llms.txt; Q&A content written to be quoted, with proof pages behind measured claims; a review engine for steady, recent, honestly-earned reviews; and a monthly re-audit on the identical battery.

Why is Presence priced per location?

Because engines answer locally. "Who should I hire" is asked about a town and a service area, and each location has its own listings, reviews, and competitors. Per-location pricing keeps the price in step with the footprint you want recommended — a second location is a second Presence, not a renegotiation.

Do you use fake reviews or other shortcuts?

Never. No purchased reviews, no review gating, no scripted praise, no link schemes. Those tactics risk platform bans and real reputational damage, and they decay the moment an engine updates. The playbook's gains come from making your real business findable, consistent, and quotable — which is also the part that lasts.

Why should I believe your own case study?

Because it starts with us, not with a client's best month. The first battery we ever ran was on NicNac Systems itself, and its results are published in the case-study section above — whatever they were. If a visibility service won't show you its own scores, ask why.

What happens after I send the intake?

A person reads it, confirms scope and price with you personally, and only then is anything billed. You'll get a reference number the moment your request lands, so we can both track the conversation.
