MOSAIC RESOURCE · SELF-GUIDED

A Leader’s Reflection

A repeatable self-guided reflection for ministry leaders and volunteer coordinators.

Read each scripture passage in the translation your church uses. These reflections are original Mosaic commentary, not a Bible translation.

Illustrative church leaders working together around a shared table.
Many gifts. One living body.

SESSION 1 · Psalm 46:10

Attend to the present

Begin with silence if it fits your practice. Name what is happening without rushing to explain or solve it.

Discuss

What is giving life? What is draining it?

Put it into practice

Write three observations and distinguish what you know from what you assume.

SESSION 2 · John 15:1–8

Listen for a pattern

Reflect on connection, support, and fruit over time. Avoid reducing a spiritual passage to a productivity target.

Discuss

What pattern keeps returning? Which relationships need attention?

Put it into practice

Choose one pattern and ask what practical and spiritual support could help.

SESSION 3 · James 1:5

Choose a next step

Ask for wisdom. Choose an action within your authority, capacity, and commitments.

Discuss

What can I change this week? Who should I consult?

Put it into practice

Name one action, one person to consult, and a date to revisit it.

SESSION 4 · Philippians 1:6

Review with kindness

Growth takes time. Review what happened with honesty and care rather than treating a difficult week as personal failure.

Discuss

What did I learn? What do I need now?

Put it into practice

Record what changed and choose whether to continue, adapt, pause, or ask for help.
