Nic Patterson is a pianist, vocalist and composer from St. Johns County. He premiered Memories of the Forsaken at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, wrote Deeply Planted, and keeps 1,000+ songs in his memory — from Chopin to “Piano Man.”

Do we need a piano at home? +
No — you can start with a simple keyboard. We'll tell you exactly what to buy at any budget, and what to look for when you're ready to move up.
My child has never played an instrument. Is that okay? +
That's our favorite kind of student. The first lessons are about falling in love with sound — we build technique and reading after the joy is already there.
I'm an adult. Isn't it too late? +
Most of our students are adults who thought exactly that. Adults learn faster than kids in many ways — you know why you're there, and you practice because you want to.
Where do lessons happen? +
At our studio off CR-208 near World Golf Village, or in your living room for families within about 15 minutes of the studio. Online lessons are also available for far-flung family.
What is the $45 registration fee for? +
It holds your weekly time slot — the thing that actually makes progress happen — and is applied to your first month of tuition. If the free first lesson isn't a fit, it's refunded in full.
What if we miss a lesson? +
Give 24 hours' notice and you get a make-up credit within the same month (one courtesy make-up per month). No-shows without notice are charged at the regular rate.
