The NicNac Glossary
Words the work made necessary.
Building with AI agents keeps producing real things that have no public name — a tier, a discipline, a rule that exists in practice before it exists in language. When we find one, we name it properly: we search first to prove the gap is real, we publish a dated definition, and we file the receipt. Renaming somebody else's established concept is not coinage; it is noise, and it does not happen here.
How a word gets in
- The gap is verified first. Before any term is published as ours, the web and the literature are searched for the word and the meaning. If the concept already has an established name, we use that name and say so.
- The definition is dated and public. Each entry is a definition article with a publication date, an honest account of what exists today, and a note on any prior uses of the word we found.
- The receipt is filed. Every coinage is recorded in our internal registry with its definition, its date, its URL, and the gap evidence behind it.
The entries
More entries are in preparation. Each one is published only after its gap is verified the same way — and when estate work surfaces a process with no public name, it is logged as a candidate the same day, so the naming keeps pace with the building.
New words, when they are earned
Glossary entries and measured notes from the work — only when there is something defined, and evidence behind it.
